I have a few cars and they are getting a on a bit in life now, the youngest being almost 10 years old. Now I am sure that the battery is great it's still the original, but I do get worried, so a nice portable car jump starter for each car is the way to go, this little thing is great, comes with an LED light at one end, great for if you can't start your car in the dark and need to find the batter under the bonnet! It also has USB ports, there useful too as you can almost guarantee when you break down your phone won't be charged enough for you to make the phone call to call the recovery firm!Connecting the jump leads up couldn't be much easier, just slide in the little connector and connect the black up to the black terminal (ALWAYS CONNECT THE BLACK FIRST!) then connect the red up to the red and then start your car, hopefully it will start and you can then unplug and carry on your journey.
