A battery charging issue on my car (Jaguar xk8 with 4 litre V8 petrol engine) meant I had to jump start it pretty much every time I drove it. I charged the Noco up when it first arrived and have lost count of the amount of times I've used it, at least 30 times. The charging problem with the car is now fixed and the Noco is still showing a 3/4 charge from that first time! Because the battery was very low there were a few occasions when the Noco couldn't detect it, however the override function meant it still started the car fine. I thought I'd err on the side of caution with the Jag being a 4 litre so went for the larger Noco model but it's held it's charge so well, even after numerous starts, that I dare say a smaller one would have been fine too. I wish I could afford a second one as I think it would be handy to keep in my old Beetle!
