Dirt cheap and took a while to come from the Far East but it works remarkably well. Enables me to check the static charge of batteries on many vehicles and also check alternator charging with engines running, without 'getting my hands dirty'. Just plug into the 12v lighter / device socket on any 12v vehicle. A full charged battery should be 12.5-12.7 V and charging current shoud be 13.4V - no more than 14V. Calibrating with a professional digital automotive multimeter suggests the accuracy is +/- 5% - good enough for me in practical applications.
