Camera arrived very quickly as expected with Prime. Unlike a lot of cameras, this one comes with everything you need. Included with the camera are:- Sandisk 32GB micro SD card- USB Micro SD card reader- Car cigarette lighter power adapter- Suction CupThe camera itself feels very premium, with a shiny black finish on the front & back, silver around the sides.The back of the camera has a nice,bright 3" screen. It's not touchscreen, but 3 buttons on each side of the camera are used to navigate menus.There is an HDMI out on the bottom of the camera, so you can watch the footage back on a TV if needed.The camera comes ready go straight out the box. The camera automatically turns itself on & off when you start the engine. It has a G-sensor built in, and by default this will "Lock" any recordings when it detects an accident by sudden movements.The camera by default makes recordings of around 3 minutes each, automatically creating new files as it is recording. The MicroSD card is easy to remove and the included USB adapter makes it easy to transfer recordings to a PC.Recording quality is good and very clear during the day. The 170-degree lens captures a very wide view of the road ahead as well as the sides of the car. Recordings at 1080 resolution look fine when played back on a PC. Night time recordings are a little blurrier, but that's the same with most dashcams. One advantage that this camera has over others is that it doesn't add its own logo to the recordings. Recordings contain just the information such as date and time.One useful feature is a "Parking Mode" that will monitor when the car is parked and automatically record for a few seconds if it detects a sudden noise or movement (ie another car hits your parked car).Overall, I'd say that this is a good entry level camera.Read more
