Simply clip the crocodiles onto the correct polarity terminals of your battery and the condition of your battery will be displayed on a 'traffic light' LED display section on the tester's front panel.
Keep the clips on the battery and start the engine to display the alternator's condition.The 'green' LED light at the bottom of the panel will not light up if the battery voltage is less than 9.9volts.

Perfect to tell if a battery is still in good condition before it goes too low to be recharged. Specially when the battery is used for an electic fence, unless the energiser tell you the status of the battery there is no way to find out when the battery is low. You need to spot the very low status before it happen otherwise the battery will hit the point of no return to full.. Even used for lighting, it is difficult to judge the condition of the battery,The seller was very good too and even put a magazine.The crocodile clips are a bit small but they do the job. Really good price . Recommended for the above reason. Dead easy to use.Read more
